CinderLella

I was contemplating starting a whole new blog but thought I have 2 already that I could continue posting on. So now that I am away from Quail Hollow Farm C.S.A. What could I blog about that would be interesting to read. I decided that I would continue blogging my life. I have now stepped into a new adventure. My adventure that I had planned on doing this Fall was attending George Wythe University. (http://www.gw.edu/) Well life threw a curve ball at me and it turns out that I am not going to GWU this fall. I am working and saving money so that I can go next semester. I got 2 jobs pretty quickly (which was a pleasant surprise)! So the adventure that I will be experiencing this autumn has to do with making beds and cleaning floors. I am a housekeeper at two hotels! That is why this post is called CinderLella. (:-D) On that note let me begin....

Once upon a time there was a lovely girl, who had to clean and scrub room after room on floor after floor. Everyday she would have 10 or more rooms to clean. It was exhausting work, and not super rewarding since the people she cleaned for never really said "Thank You" to the lowly housekeeper. After a full day of work she would trudge home on weary feet, for her carriage (Legacy Subaru) that her Fairy Godmother (sister Margret who went on a mission.) had left her was needing a couple of repairs before it could be of use to poor CinderLella. Her Fairy Godmother had known she would be traveling out of the country for some time and didn't want to leave CinderLella with no transportation if the occasion arose.
Even though the chances of meeting royalty was slim, she was becoming proficient at making beds fit for monarchs (Queen sized and King sized beds) in 10-15 minutes all by herself. Which if you have made you will understand that to be an accomplishment. Pillows actually and surprisingly seemed to take the longest out of the whole bed process. She did not have an Evil step-mother or step-sisters, however she did have a not so pleasant to work with manager. So she ran away from that job (aka quit) for it was not worth it to be unhappy for 25 cents more an hour.

One Friday afternoon CinderLella received an exciting invitation... She had been asked on a date for the institute date night. Sir Brandon (he wasn't her Prince Charming) and CinderLella went on a hike with the rest of the institute couples. As they reached the destination they had a dinner of taco salad. It was a delightful evening except for the ridiculous trail that the leaders had picked. The conversation though was quite enjoyable. And Sir Brandon was a true knight and very chivalrous.

this story of CinderLella will be continued later on. :)
